During part one of this two-part series, ECAT faculty will present a 360 degree approach to staff development. This course will challenge professionals to assess their approach to staffing, recruitment and retention strategies, and onboarding and will help supervisors set employees up for success through various professional development, administrative, and risk management strategies.

  • Understand the value of staff development for individual and organization success
  • Describe internal and external stakeholders and how they lead to comprehensive staff development
  • Define cognitive diversity and understand how it leads to overall program improvement
  • Provide introduction to various professional development strategies.
  • Be informed of available resources to aid in professional growth and development
