Learning Objectives:

  1. AT’s will be able to identify critical components of tournament or special event coverage ranging from proper medical oversight, medical staff concerns, equipment needed, compensation, interprofessional collaboration and establishing an incident action plan (IAP) to provide for unified command and control.
  2. AT’s will be able to identify how to locate, select, plan, and set up an appropriate AT Facility for treating and caring for participants in a tournament based on tournament participation registration numbers.
  3. ATs will be able to recognize the importance of setting a fair wage, and establish cost analysis/budget for other factors, including medical supplies, meals, or hospitality room, establishing a medical area, and driving distance.
